Pamini "Pam" Rasalingam
Lactation Consultant and Pediatrician
Dr. Rasalingam has been helping families with breastfeeding for the last 2 years at the International BreastFeeding Centre and Millcreek Breastfeeding Centre. She has received her certification for Breastfeeding Courses for Health Professionals from the Halton Baby Friendly Initiative and Mohawk College. She is a candidate for the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) designation. Further, she is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and the Breastfeeding Committee for Canada.
She is a Halton Healthcare Pediatrician with privileges at Milton Hospital, Oakville Hospital, and Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Rasalingam had previously served as Program Director for Pediatrics at Georgetown Hospital and as a staff Pediatrician at Belleville General Hospital. She is an Associate Professor at Queen’s University. She has completed training in psychotherapy and will see patients for Postpartum Depression on a consultation basis.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, volleyball, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
